Solway Sunset - Rockcliffe

£50.00

One of my favourite places in Scotland is the Solway Firth. The coastline from Sandyhills to Rockcliffe and along to Kippford. But what I love the most about this part of the world are the bright and colourful skies. Solway's sunsets have mesmerised me since childhood and for years I have tried to capture them in sketches. This is my ode to these beautiful views.

The coastline is rough and ever changing, full of caves and hidden rock formations. It is truly a magical experience when the tide goes out and you can walk along the flats for miles.

This panel is inspired by the views at Rockcliffe just along the Firth in between Kippford and Sandyhills. From this bay when the tide is out you can walk the flats to Rough Island. Here I have spent afternoons bird spotting and searching for sea glass.

These wall panels are 25 x 20 cm and wall mounted with a singular fixing on the back.

Made using Bullseye Glass.
